(r)evolution

By Guy Beaudet, Director of Strategy and Development

Innovation is a key issue for the competitiveness of our company. Within Berger-Levrault, all the ingredients of this innovation come together: professional and geographical diversification, shared vision on progress with our employees as well as our customers and all final users of our on-line services.
Innovation also means knowing how to integrate the deep transformation of the world that is impregnated by the digitalization and the important economic changes worldwide. We must understand the major evolutions for our customers in this context.

How can we provide the best software solutions and services to our customers? Reality is complex. It is a question of apprehending territorial evolutions, in particular the significant decrease in the number of municipalities in France; integrating the new needs of our clients in the rationalization of public expenditure due to their reduced revenues. We also have to help them to plan their investments, to forecast their HR needs with tailored solutions and to share with citizens the challenges of new local public administration policies.

This approach is adapted at both French and world level, in Spain, Quebec, Morocco, Belgium... It is our responsibility in 2016 to support the 24,000 municipalities, clients of Berger-Levrault, who represent nearly 90 Million Euros of our turnover. Our expertise in managing human and financial resources, documents and territories has made our success. By making the most of this know-how we must keep on building and strengthening our partnerships with both our historical and new customers. Our solutions have proved their worth in the past and still have an excellent future, because we can fully be trusted.
