Tugdual Le Bouar, 50, is appointed Chief Operating Officer of the Berger-Levrault Group. Alongside Pierre-Marie Lehucher (Group CEO), Tugdual Le Bouar will primarily be responsible for steering and accelerating the Group’s growth in France and abroad.

Holding a PhD in physical sciences and a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique in Paris, Tugdual Le Bouar began his career in 1997 at Motorola, then worked for Freescale on operational management assignments. In 2008, he joined CGG as Business Unit Director. He joined Berger-Levrault in 2018 as Product Marketing Director, and member of the executive committee. In 2019, he took the helm of the subsidiary CARL Berger-Levrault.

This nomination is part of the Group’s new organization, now structured around a reinforced Executive Committee.

To support global development, the following actions will be taken starting January 2021:

  • A new cross-cutting and international approach to sales,
  • Strong development of the partner network in new countries in Asia and Europe (Germany, Switzerland, etc.).

As a key player in the Group’s strategic development, Tugdual Le Bouar has a full understanding of digital challenges and is well versed in international markets. His nomination will enable Berger-Levrault:

  • to pursue its business momentum after a dynamic year in 2020 that saw digital transformation gain speed in both the public and private sectors,
  • to deploy its R&D culture and strong connection with the world of Research to develop new digital solutions serving the common good.

Backed by the shareholders, the new strategic project aims to increase revenue twofold within five years (2020 revenue = €172 million).
