On July 1, 2021, the Berger-Levrault Group, a multi-sector international software publisher for local municipalities and administrations, medico-social institutions, businesses, industries, and the health care and education sectors, announced the acquisition of Escort Informatique.

Created in 1985, Escort Informatique offers expert interoperable solutions:

  • for the management of water points and the management of working hours for professional firefighters and volunteers at the SDIS (Departmental Fire and Rescue Services),
  • for the management of contests and examinations in the State Public Service, the Territorial Public Service, and the Hospital Public Service.

Based in Beauvais, France, Escort Informatique has 12 employees and generated sales of €1.6 million in 2020.

This new relationship illustrates Berger-Levrault’s ambition to accompany local players closely in their missions and to open up the formidable potential of digital technology. It consolidates the group’s position in the SDIS segment and diversifies its presence in the State Public Service.

Through this operation, the two software publishers aim to:

  • pool their expertise, and
  • expand their offerings.
